QUESTIONS:
What tach and shift light do you recommend to use with an MSD Grid controller in a Stock Eliminator car.
MSD Grid has a dedicated tach output. You may select any of our tachometers. This one will work fine:

will this light work with MSD 7535 aand how to wire it
This light would need a shift light controller to work. You could not hook it directly to your MSD box. Please give our tech team a call for help picking out the right shift light for your build.

Can the plug be removed to separate the wires as long as you match up power and ground?
This light will function without the plug. One wire to power and one to ground.

Will Tach #6997 hook to Light #5334 using extension Wire #3257? If yes, would the light's RPM activation be adjustable using the adjustment in the Tach? Thank You
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, it will not work. You will need P/N: 5312 in order for the shift light to work.

I have a 5334 amber pedestal shift light with no installation instructions and it only has 2 black wires coming out of the back. Can you tell me where these should be connected? Thanks
Thank you for your question. This unit has a plug on the end of the two wires that would plug right into our pedestal mounted tachometers. For further assistance please call our tech line at 866-248-6357.

Can the ProLite 5334 be used with the 5312 Controller for shift light indication? I ask because the wiring diagram for the 5312 Controller shows a connection to shift lights but it looks like a molex-type connector while the 5334 only has two leads.
Thank you for your question. Yes, you can use these two together. You can remove the connector. One wire is power and the other is ground, as long as you connect the positive from the 5312 to positive from the 5334, and then ground to ground from 5312 to 5334. As long as you match up those connections, it will work just fine.
