QUESTIONS:

Does this come with an insert sleeve that slides into the nylon tubing in order to compress it properly? Like these - https://www.fittings.space/tbc2m-02f-u03x32m

G'day Guys, how long does this "line" last? Does is become brittle or deteriorate over time when being used as the oil line for the gauge? The one I have on my vehicle has been on there for at least 20 years. Should I be concerned?

Asked by: Fazz
G'day Jim, thanks for getting back to me. I would've liked to replace the Line whilst I had everything apart. A replacement was not available at the time in Melbourne Australia.

Would this line work for a oil pressure gauge?

Asked by: JagImaging
Thank you for your question. Yes, this will work with our oil pressure gauges. It is actually what is included with the gauge when you purchase it.

Will this work with the Autometer Ultra Lite 100 psi fuel pressure gauge? If not, what fittings/hose kit will I need?

Asked by: Mike0919
Thank you for your question. Using this tubing for fuel pressure would pose a very hazardous situation and it is absolutely not designed to be used with fuel. We would recommend our #3227 Stainless Steel line to be used with fuel pressure gauges.

How (where) do I connect the tubing to the engine? It's a Mercruiser 4.3 MPI 2003 Alpha 1.

Asked by: Tord
Hi Tord, thank you for contacting us. Without quite a bit more detail, it would be very difficult to determine where this tubing would connect on your Mercruiser. I would recommend reaching out to our Service Team by email with as many details as you can provide on your engine and also the specific type of instrument you're trying to install.
