DESCRIPTION:

Modification to an original dash can be a daunting task. AutoMeter makes it easy with a range of direct fit replacement dash panels that perfectly house AutoMeter instruments. Precision engineered and machined in the USA from billet aluminum, these panels drastically simplify the process of gauge installation while providing a clean, timeless look.
Feature Points
  • Fits two AutoMeter 5" instruments which feature a Street Rod bezel style. Will not accommodate gauges with Super, Monster, or SAE bezels. Please verify with your AutoMeter salesperson that the instruments you have selected will fit this panel.
  • Direct Fit gauge adapter rings for 1967-1968 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird. Accommodates two 5" AutoMeter instruments in factory gauge mounting locations.
  • Machined from billet aluminum in polished finish. Gauges mount from front of plate.

QUESTIONS:

Can you send instructions on how the adapter goes together for a 1967 firebird stock speedo housing  I got the instructions but the 5” speedo is much deeper than the 5” pro comp tach

It is designed to accommodate the more shallow electric speedometers and the deeper quad gauges and mechanical speedometer. What is the inner dimension?
