QUESTIONS:

Does this BVA-350 model have a specified Amp Hour Testing Range? Looking for something that can test up to 120 Amp Hours minimum. Thank you.

Asked by: Deedecay
Hi, A 120 AH battery is approximately 900 CCA. This BVA-350 tests batteries up to 1600 CCA. Thanks, Jim

what does these mean when my BVA 350 displays low voltage when battery is good.Battery voltage is about 12.6v

Asked by: Nowee
Hi Nowee, thank you so much for contacting us. That can be caused by a less than ideal connection with the battery itself. If your multimeter verifies 12.6v on the lead posts but the tester is not seeing it, verify that you've got good contact between the clamps and the battery. That could also be related to the internal 9v battery on the tester itself. Definitely worth swapping it out if there are irregular readings. Hope this helps!

I've owned a BVA-350 for a couple of years and love it. Wondering if it will work to test a Lifepo4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery? If yes, how do I set it? The Lifepo4 batteries are a deep cycle type so don't have a CCA rating to enter into the BVA-350
