The BVA-300 is a Technician grade handheld electrical system tester that preforms a compete electrical system test in less than 82 seconds. Utilizing an on-board 40 amp load, the BVA-300 uses patented Digitial Pulse Load technology to fully test most batteries, starters and alternators completely.

Thank you for your inquiry. The BVA-300 is a tester only. It does not charge batteries.

How much will this test in amp hours, need a tester to do 100 amp hrs @ 20 hrs, will this tester do this?
Hi Lee, thank you so much for contacting us. Unfortunately, we do not currently offer a tester designed to do a quick test of backup/reserve power lead acid style batteries that large. Our RC-300 tester is the only unit we have designed with those types of batteries in mind but it's capacity is significantly lower at 50Ah:
