Midnight Blue Monte Carlo

Terrance Hight’s first car was a 1986 Chevy Monte Carlo SS with a T-Top. He sold it in 2006 and regretted it ever since. The following year, he found another 1986 Chevy Monte Carlo SS and knew he had to have it. When he first purchased it, it was dark cherry red and set up for drag racing. It made a nice cruiser for a few years, so he repainted the car to match the dark cherry, but he wasn’t a fan of how it turned out. He repainted it black and then it was unfortunately in a bad hail storm and sat for a bit. Then, he decided to take it all apart and painted it Midnight Blue to get to where it is today. Terrance completed all of the work himself beside the motor.  He graduated from Lincoln College of Technology in Denver in 2011 and wrenched on it while attending. His thirteen-year-old daughter also shares a passion for G-Body’s and has helped install several items with him. He loves Monte Carlo’s because of the body and the ease of working on them. He also has a 1984 Buick Grand National that’s in the process of restoring and he plans to restore another T-Top Monte Carlo SS, like his first car, in the future.
