the factory A-pillar has a handle I assume this replaces it with this handless A-pillar

Is the texture same as factory?

Thank you for your inquiry. If you bring up the image for this pillar, then enlarge, you will get a good look it the finish. It is textured, as close as we can get to a factory finish.

I see it "has a provision" for the speaker, but is it a big hole for the grille to fit a '15-'17 F-series, or does it have it's own grille, similar to the '18-'20's?

Thank you for your question. The pillar pod does have its own grille for the speaker. You will simply need to reinstall the OEM speaker into the new pillar pod.
