DESCRIPTION:

Dress up your 5" pedestal tachometer with this real carbon fiber cover for the case assembly. Simply slide the cover over the back of the tachometer and tighten the mounting strap. Not compatible with 5" in-dash tachometers.

I purchased a 5" in dash marine carbon fiber tach but you dont make a pedestal mount for the in dash tach and how come you dont sell a 5" pedestal mounted marine tach?

We don't offer a Marine 5" pedestal mount tachometer because there has historically been very little interest from customers for this option.

Greetings, I would like to know if this item works for my 5898 to convert it from in dash and be able to mount it on any surface

This product is designed to fit only our non-playback pedestal mount tachometers. It will not fit your 5898 in-dash tach.

Hi Billy, thanks for the question. No, the 2155 is the carbon fiber cup only. If you needed a strap, that is available separately as model 3209. Please keep in mind the 2155 is specifically for 5" pedestal mount tachometers that feature the "step down" 3-3/8" case.
