MSD Ignition's have a tach output connector.

I have the 3904 model that I got on a car I recently purchased. It didn't have a shift light so I purchased one. When I first hooked it up, it worked fine. After a few minutes the shift light came on solid and will not go off. Is there a fix?

my 5" shiftlight monstertach has two brown and two blue loops. i want to use it with a 4 cyl.engine,do i clip all four?
4cylinder you just cut the wires for 6 cylinder you cut the wires then wire brown and orange together

We would not be able to make this 8K version in silver. We do offer the 3911, which would be the comparable silver version, but in 10K.

Can this Tach be used on a two cylinder motorcycle with electronic ignition?
Thank you for your question. This tachometer can calibrate for 1-4 pulse ignition systems, so yes, it should work on your two cylinder motorcycle.

Is this tach offered with a black bezel ? If not, can the bezel be removed and anodized or painted ? I’d like a tach that is completely black to match my other gauges.
