REVIEWS:

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very responsive tach! I bought this tach for the looks and got the most impressive working tach I've ever seen. It is so responsive and fast action that I noticed my engine had a slight misfire that I never noticed before. By improving my ignition system I was able to get rid of the misfire and it's all due to the amazing accuracy of the tach. More than a tach, it's an engine diagnostic aid!

QUESTIONS:

Is it possible to remove the shift light and relocate it at another place rather than beside the tach and if so, how long of pig tail wiring connects the light to the tach.  Would like tach at column and run wires to mount the light on my dash above.

Asked by: FabMan
You may remove and remotely mount the shift light. The wire id only a few inches long, so this extension will be needed: https://www.autometer.com/quick-lite-3-ft-extension-wire-w-connectors.html

Can the shift light be rotated so that it is not only at 10:00?

Asked by: Bogs
The light can be moved. You will need to loosen the band strap in order to place the shift-lite in the location you prefer.

Can this tachometer be purchased with a quick lite ?

Asked by: Tonyd945
This tachometer is compatible with the Quick-Lite, but you would have to purchase the Quick-Lite separately. Alternatively we offer the 6856 that includes a Quick-Lite and Memory Recall.

Did this tach come with a plastic mount for the inside of a cluster panel. Bought it from a friend and don't have anyway to mount it. And is it possible to purchase?

Asked by: Joe565
Hi Joe, thank you for the question. The 3911 is a pedestal mount tachometer and only ever came with our 3209 mounting strap, which is shown here and can be purchased separately: https://www.autometer.com/tach-shock-strap-kit.html To mount it in dash would usually require a little creativity. If there was enough room behind the dash and tachometer, the 3209 can sometimes be used to hold it in a dash or cluster.

Can I get a spedometer that matches

Asked by: Jefferson s10
Thank you for your question. There are a couple different speedometers that match the 3911 tachometer. There are two 5" mechanical speedometers that match, part #4495 goes 0-160mph, #4496 goes 0-200mph. There are also two 5" electric speedometers that match, Part #4489 which goes 0-160, and #4490 which goes 0-200mph. Additionally, there is a 5" GPS speedometer that matches, part #4481 and it goes 0-140mph. If you have any further questions regarding this or need any assistance choosing which one is best for your application, please reach out to our tech support team at 866.248.6357 and we will be happy to help you.
