QUESTIONS:

Hello. I got this speedo and a tremec tko 600 What speed sensor do i need on my gearbox?

Asked by: Tommy77
There were a few iterations of that transmission, but the short answer is, if so equipped (which is likely), just use the Tremec speed sensor output. If it's an older unit with only a cable drive for your speedometer, you'd use the 5291 if it's a thread on style cable: https://www.autometer.com/hall-effect-speedometer-sender.html Or a 5292 for a Ford style "plug in" cable: https://www.autometer.com/hall-effect-speedometer-sender-ford-plug-in.html Or perhaps easiest of all, your could use our GPS sender which works on any application as it doesn't have any connection to the transmission: https://www.autometer.com/universal-gps-speedometer-interface-module.html

bomjour ! le compteur vient-il avec le module gps ou je dois acheter les deux ? 248 + 334 ? merci

Asked by: mi73ke

I have been using this unit for many months and it has worked perfect. Recently it still flicks up when the ignition is turned on but it does not read anything whilst driving. Is there a troubleshooting PDF i can get my hands on?

Asked by: Andrew BIG BLOCK CHEV
Thank you for your question. We don't have troubleshooting instructions, but our tech team is more than willing to help. From your brief description it sounds like your speed sensor may be failing. I would recommend sending an email to [email protected] to go over troubleshooting options for both the gauge and speed sensor.

Do you do this style gauge in Kph with black background?

Asked by: Jimmy234
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not offer a Kph speedo like this with a black dial face. The closest one available is #3983-M

What number initially pops up in led display when ignition first turned on (18889)

Asked by: Sapp1568
Thank you for your question. When you turn on the speedometer the number that momentarily is displayed on the odometer is the speedometer's current Pulse per Mile setting. This is the number that is set by doing the 2-mile calibration drive.

Hi there when using this gauge with the gps module how does the odometer meter work? Also can you reset the odometer back to zero when putting into another car.

Asked by: Gsr26l
Thank you so much for contacting us. The odometer functions exactly the same whether you're using a transmission speed sender or a GPS speed sender. It tracks distance traveled over the life of the speedometer. Unfortunately, due to regulations regarding speedometers in the US, there is no way to reset or lower the accumulated mileage on any of our speedometers. Hope this helps!
