Hi Are you able to supply a 5" speedometer in the antique beige style in km/h ? Thanks

Asked by: Scoot
It does not look like we have a 5" version of this gauge in the KM/h. I would be on the lookout for our custom shop later this year.

I have a 1972 VW Karmann Ghia, does one of your mechanical/electric converters work for this car?  Or will I need to pony up for the GPS unit?

Asked by: Stutzman
Thank you for contacting us. We have the 2 standard GM and Ford. The GM sender (5291) is a 7/8-18 thread and was more commonly used on other older vehicles. However, we’re not sure what your Karmann Ghia is. The other option would be our 5290 universal speed sensor. This is what we offer for those applications that aren’t compatible with the 5291 or 5292.

I have a 1930 Chrysler Series 70 Roadster with a more modern Chrysler 251 25" 6 cyl long block Spitfire motor commonly found in Power Wagons and Mid 50,s to late 60's John Deere Tractors. What will I need to make it work with my vehicle?

Asked by: MikeW.
Thank you for contacting us. Any VSS or Gps module such as part #5289 will work.

Hello, I really like your instruments but have an English vehicle with 4" (100 mm) Speedo and Tacho openings. This is a very common size in English cars. Do you have any plans to build 4" Speedos and Tachos?

Asked by: Joe3580
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, at this time we have no plans to add 4" instruments to our product lines.

Asked by: badbob
Thank you for your question. The speedometer will calibrate to match your vss during the 2-mile calibration drive.

I have a Bugatti Kit car built on a 1969 VW Bug.  My question is I have ordered a cable that converts the analog to electronic signal for speedo using Inductive Sensor.  Will this speedo work with that setup? Also can I set the original mileage?

Asked by: TNSnowman
Thank you for connecting with us. Our electronic speedometers will read a sine-wave type signal or a hall-effect signal. Unfortunately, without know exactly what type of signal your device produces, we can't make any guarantees. But if it's designed to run an electronic speedometer, it should work with ours. There are no adjustments that you will be able to do with mileage, but you can special order with any mileage for a small additional service charge. If you'd like to inquire further about the special order, give us a call at 866-248-6356 or email us here: https://www.autometer.com/contacts
