QUESTIONS:
I have this gauge installed on a 1966 International Scout LS powered. The fuel will only read at 3/4's when tank is full with key on. With key off the gauge reads a 5/8 inch below the empty symbol. is this correct or is there something wrong?
This fuel level gauge is designed to see 240 ohms empty and 33 ohms full. I advise measuring resistance through the sender at empty and full. The pointer may sit anywhere randomly with power off. This is normal.
