QUESTIONS:

I ordered temp gauge ATM 4737 and temp sender fitting ATM 2280 to add a sender inline on my Miata heater hose. The sender that came with the gauge nearly bottoms out in the inline brass fitting and blocks about 50 percent of the hose volume. Is that OK?

Asked by: Alanp
Thank you for your question. You will need P/N: 2259 as that will help clear the line since it's a shorter probed sensor.

I am wanting to put a temp switch in this unit. I want it to turn the fans on at 190 degrees. Do you have a part number for the switch?

Asked by: PBWGB
Thank you for your question. We do not have anything for that specific temperature. I would recommend purchasing one of our Pro Control temperature gauges in order for the gauge to trigger a fan to turn on.

Hi, need to install an electric sensor to turn on my fan like the one from American Volt AV-1020-1-190-18. It's a 1/8" NPT sensor. Just concerned it's too long. Like the idea of cutting heater hose over radiator hose.

Asked by: MrLee
Hi, This heater hose adapter can handle a sensor with 1/2" depth. Thanks, Jim

What fitting do I need to connect a mechanical temp gauge? Auto meter 2432.

Asked by: Anonymous
Thank you for your inquiry. Heater hose adapters can only be used with electric temp gauges. For a mechanical gauge, use one of these two radiator hose adapters: https://www.autometer.com/1-to-1-1-4-radiator-hose-adapter.html https://www.autometer.com/1-1-2-radiator-hose-adapter.html

Does the 2280 adaptor come with the temperature sensor ? Is that the wire bundle shown in the picture ?

Asked by: JohnD
Hi John, thank you for connecting with us. There is no sender included, but this heater hose adapter features an 1/8" NPT port, which will only accept our electric temperature senders.
