REVIEWS:

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Problem Solver To sense coolant temperature, I put this in the heater hose of my Jeep. The hose was marked 11/16" but the adapter fit perfectly. This is a quality product which will last a lifetime. If this will help your installation, don't hesitate.

QUESTIONS:

I want to use this to provide coolant temperature to a Holley Sniper EFI system.. Their sensor is 3/8" NPT.. Which 1/8" sensor should I use to fit this adapter that will provide the proper signal to the EFI?

Asked by: robsincavage
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not have anything for this. You could speak with Holley on what sensor can be used with that product.

mounting 2 gauges #4737 and tapping into intercooler in/out lines with 2x of these Adapters #2281 which says 3/4" barb ends and 1/8" nptf transducer. Is that for 3/4" id hose? Also will the gauges #4737 with 1/8" npt work as they are not nptf ?

The "F" could stand for Female if its not Fine thread possibly...

I am looking to add a mechanical temp gauge to my liquid cooled ATV. Would this work to plump onto the return hose and provide an accurate reading? The electrical system does not put out a constant 12 volts to power an electric gauge.

Asked by: DanJ
Hi Joseph. I looked at the adapters in the link, unfortunately these options will be too big as all the coolant hoses are 3/4 inch diam. Thank you for your assistance.
