Yes these will work with the roadster but you would have to provide an electric speed signal to the gauge.

Is there a way to set the mileage to what is on the vehicle at the time of installation?

Hello. Thank you for reaching out. We ship all of our programmable electronic speedometers with 0 miles. You can add mileage by running a signal generator or sender to the speedometer, but there is no simple programming of a desired mileage upon installation. You can send the speedometer back to us and we can add mileage or you can special order a speedometer from us with a specific mileage added.
