QUESTIONS:
I know this is a cheap gauge but what accuracy can you guarantee over the range? Or specifically from 12 to 16V. I would think you'd have a rough target/expectation.
Due to the limited “short sweep” range, there are many limitations and factors when determining accuracy. Even the pointer width. Our accepted tolerance is around “3-2-3.” Which means we have a tolerance of 3% on the first and last 3rd of the range and 2% in the middle range. Our full sweep electric (digital stepper motor) voltmeters will have a tighter tolerance and a more precise dial range.
