QUESTIONS:

Hi Auto Meter Tech Support. Is item #1897 (or your tachometers in general) compatible with signals from magnetic pickups (notwithstanding that the pulse count would have to mimic one of the engine ignition options)?

Asked by: CalvinHobbes95
Our tachometers require a 12 volt DC square wave to trigger. The magnetic trigger would have to produce this type of signal.

Dumb questions but what measurement do you use for the diameter? Is it the outside dimension of the bezel or is it the size of the "housing"? Or is it something else. Thank you.

Asked by: Hymer Guy
Hello! 2-1/16" is the diameter of the face of the gauge. From the outside of the bezel, the diameter is 2-5/16".

do you sell a steering wheel mount or under dash mount for the 2 1/16 antique beige tachometer

Asked by: Ron Rat
Hello! Model #2236 will fit model #1897 under your dash. We do not have a mount made specifically for a steering wheel, but model #2204 is a pedestal mount that may be similar to what you're looking for.
