QUESTIONS:

What is the depth of the gauge behind the front panel. I have a shallow location and wish to ensure that it will clear. Thank you.

Asked by: Dirtbeard
Thank you for your question. 5747 is 2-5/8" deep.

I have this gauge in my dodge truck to measure transmission oil temperature. I need to replace the temperature sensor (sending unit), as I think it's faulty. Will this gauge work with any sensor or does it only work with the Auto-Meter brand?

Asked by: Eric M

How much depth from the surface does the sender require (how long is the interior portion of the sending unit)? I want to use an adapter for two probes./ Thank you.
