QUESTIONS:

Can I use the factory stock oil pressure sending unit from my TBI engine with the 3327 gauge. It’s a 12v hot wire into he sending unit then 1 wire back to the stock gauge. There’s a 3rd wire for the fuel pump but that shouldn’t be in equation.

Asked by: SKing
Our gauge can only use the sending unit provided in the kit.

There are 2 lines below the 25. the needle is below the second and above the 0. What do the 2 lines represent? Does the small one just under the 25 mean 12.5? Thank you

Asked by: Goatboy
The first line represents zero, which is where the pointer will rest with power on and engine off. The unmarked lines each represent a halfway point, so the one you refer to does indeed mean 12.5 PSI.

I am looking for a pressure sender for this gauge. Would you be able to tell me the part number for that and also the thread pitch on the sender itself? I need to get a line made that will fit that thread.

Asked by: Regular Josh
Thank you for your question. The sending unit for 3327 is model number 2242, which has a thread size of 1/8 in. NPTF.

I have a SPORT COMP oil pressure gauge in my car. It has a 3 screw terminal oil pressure sender. Is it possible to get part number so I can order?

Asked by: Blushu
Hi, The sender you describe is not of our manufacture. The correct sender is our 2242: https://www.autometer.com/100-psi-electric-oil-pressure-sensor.html Thanks, Jim

Upon starting the engine my gauge goes to >100psi and stays there. Occasionally, the gauge will read a more normal reading of +/-50psi but this is only temporary and will again peg at 100 psi. I've tried different ground locations with no change.

Asked by: JohnW
Thank you for your question. There is a couple different things that could cause this. I would recommend contacting our support team so they can get some more information and provide some feedback and troubleshooting that will be specific to your application.
