Transmission fluid temperature is the single biggest contributing factor to the lifespan of your automatic transmission. Having an accurate, realtime measurement allows you to know when to downshift or when to take your foot out of it. Whether you’re towing or simply trying to harness the power of a built or boosted motor, AutoMeter’s Mechanical Trans Temp Gauge will give you the most accurate possible measurement for the exact temp of your trans fluid. An 8’ Capillary Tube with a 1/2” NPT mounting nut is included to be installed in your transmission pan. An optional trans cooler line manifold is available for another easy installation option.

Is the mechanical sending unit included with this gauge? I am looking to install in a GM TH350 transmission.
Everything needed will come with this gauge, including an 8’ Capillary Tube with a 1/2” NPT mounting nut is included to be installed in your transmission pan.

I have a trans temp gauge 3451 that I had installed in my Chevelle. Before I sold the car I removed the gauge and plugged the bung in the pan. Will you sell me just the threaded bung to install the gauge in my current car? Can you give me a part # ?
The 3451 normally includes the 2264 ½” NPT fitting. As an option, we offer a steel weld bung separately under model 2261.
