DESCRIPTION:

Knowing the exact air/fuel mixture running through your engine is the most important factor to extracting the highest levels of performance and durability. Not all wideband gauges are created equal. AutoMeter utilizes an advanced calibration method that automatically calibrates your gauge on every startup to assure you of the highest degree of accuracy over the entire lifespan of your sensor (no free air calibration is ever necessary). Compatible with nearly all fuel types, the AutoMeter Pro Wideband has a configurable display to pinpoint the exact range you want to keep an eye on. An advanced peak recall function and lean warning system make sure you’re safely making power, whether on the track or on the street. An automatically dimming display tailors light output for any condition. Data logging output is included for one wire or two wire systems in both lambda or AFR. Our specially designed O2 sensor and wiring harness are included for ease of installation. Quite simply, there isn’t a more accurate or easy to live with wideband gauge available on the market.

Will this gauge work in my 1969 mustang with a Holley carburetor and long tube headers ?

Asked by: supershifter2
This is a universal unit so as long as the sender, harness, and gauge are installed properly it will work.

Good afternoon my question is how far away from another o2 sensor does the autometer sensor need to be so that one doesn't disrupt the other sensor readings? I am adding this sensor to my car for data logging and quick refence.

Asked by: GolfR
Thank you for your question. You will want the sensor at a different clocked position. If you cannot do that then the sensor does need to be slightly clocked different and roughly 6" downstream from the other sensor.

I know this gauge has the ability to auto dim, but is there an option to have the unit dimmed via a hard wired illumination connection? i plan to use this in conjunction with the 6197 which appears to have this feature

Asked by: scottyb
Thank you for your inquiry. This gauge cannot be connected to a lighting dimmer.

Just wondering if this can have the black outter surround like the blacked out series of this gauge? Thanks

Asked by: Anonymous
Thank you for your question. No, this is not available with an all black background, and neither is the rest of the series. The images that show the Cobalt series with a black bezel and casing are showing what the gauges look like at night/in the dark.
