Can I lengthen the sending wire on this gauge

Hi Gascan, thank you for contacting us. The wires can be lengthened, but it's critical that you obtain a zero resistance, soldered connection. After any extension, it's important to check resistance through the connection to ensure zero resistance.

How well can I expect this gauge to perform on a snowmobile? Is it waterproof? Will it work in below zero F temps?
