QUESTIONS:

Is it important that the ground be near the sender? I installed this Trans Temp gauge with a new sender that I bought from Autometer. The gauge powers up, but the needle does not move. To test, I hooked the ground right to the battery.

Asked by: kevlore
Thank you for your question. The important thing is to insure that you have a complete, non-interrupted ground loop shared between the sender and the gauge for the most accurate readings. If you still can't get it to read please give our tech support team a call and we can troubleshoot with you.

I have a transmission temp gauge manufactured in 2007, series 2-1/16" TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE, 100-250 °F, AIR-CORE, SPORT-COMP II. Is it possible for me to change out the faceplates so I can keep all my gauges matching? Do you have a repair service?
