What is air core?

Asked by: Gmrat
Air Core refers to the type of electric meter movement used in our short sweep electric gauges.

will the lighting dim with the dash light rheostat?

Asked by: Irving
Yes, this gauge does dim when voltage is reduced to the lighting power. This is typically accomplished through the factory dimmer. Some newer/current vehicles, due to the way this circuit is grounded, may not always work. In that case you can your own dimmer or use our 9114.
