What sender unit do you recommend to use with this gauge?

0-90 ohm the sender 1965 - 1997 GM. Or our Fuel Bridge. # 9109 The Fuel Bridge wires in between your fuel level gauge and sending unit and allows you to use any AutoMeter 90-degree short sweep electric fuel level gauge with any stock or aftermarket sending unit.

The diameter across the bezel is 2-1/4".

Thank you for your question. We do not offer a 0-30 ohm fuel level gauge in Prestige Black. However, the AutoMeter Fuel Bridge (model number 9109) wires in between your fuel level gauge and sending unit and allows you to use any AutoMeter fuel level gauge with any stock or aftermarket sending unit.

Can this be made to work with a 73-10 ohm sending unit?

We can make this into a 73-10 ohm (linear) fuel level gauge as they share the same dial. However we are not able to make this into a 73-10 ohm (non-linear) gauge. For further assistance please give us a call at 866-248-6357.
