DESCRIPTION:

Mounting performance gauges in cramped vehicle interiors can be challenging. Often this results in compromised placements requiring off-axis instrument viewing by the driver. If unaddressed, this can result in parallax error, the incorrect reading of pointer position relative to dial markings. To ensure that the driver sees exactly what they need to, AutoMeter offers the gauge angle rings which allow for rotation of gauge faces perpendicular to the driver's field of view.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No chrome or polished metal option? Lousy brackets They are smaller overall in diameter than some others on the market which is good but only plastic available and in black was a disappointment. The bracket adjustment is tedious. No reason to send out a bracket for a flat panel that takes too long to modify. One that will work with most angles could be sent instead. I would pay for it.

QUESTIONS:

Will the 2234 rings and brackets fit water temp gauge 2635 or will they need to be cut to fit angle. The 2635 requires a depth of about 2 inches to clear the electrical connections.

You will need to cut the included U Brackets to compensate for the angle.

Are the angle rings paintable.   If so what is the prep and suggested primer.

Hi there, thank you for the question. While we won't have a specific paint recommendation, they are molded in ABS plastic and paintable. We would recommend an automotive interior style paint that is suitable for ABS.

Do you make angle rings for 1 1/2" gauges
