Contingency Fraud
Making a false claim for contingency WILL result in losing contingency payments for up to 3 years. DO NOT CLAIM PRODUCTS YOU DO NOT HAVE ON THE CAR THAT IS RACING!
|
Decal Size
The contingency decal measures 3" x 9-1/8" and bear the words "Competition Instruments", or "Data Acquisition". These are the only decals that qualify for contingency. *The mini decal supplied with the gauges does not qualify for any posting.
|
Postings
Check with your specific sanctioning body or track for a specific posting in your class, make sure you have all the proper products and decals for your claim. Dual postings require two decals, one for the Gauges and one for Data Acquisition. Data Acquisition products include Payback Boxes, Playback Tachs, and the Data Logger. Gauges would include an array of AUTO METER gauges.
|
Decal Placement
One decal on each side of the race vehicle for tachometer and gauges, and, or, one decal on each side of the race vehicle, for data acquisition, satisfies most postings. Decals must be applied as follows: left side decal is facing left, and right side decal is facing right (inside of a wing is not authorized) Display is required for the entire event, and must be applied prior to first round eliminations.
|
Stacking
No stacking permitted. Each decal must be complete (NO TRIMMING ALLOWED) and unblocked by other decals. Painted reproductions require prior approval by Auto Meter's Director of Motorsports.
|
Decal Availability
Auto Meter supplies decals in the quantity to each sanctioning body. Decals can be obtained from the tech trailer at the race or Auto Meter will supply you before the race. Call Auto Meter at 815-899-0800 or fax request to 815-895-6786.
